Day Two
Woke up to have our complimentary buffet breakfast~ It was pretty good. Didn't have a large appetite though. Sadly.. Hilton is so pro-kidds! The lobby seating area is so colourful and have toys all over the floor.. The buffet had a whole section dedicated to kids and their food looked yummier. But cos their display plates were smaller it seemed kinda mean to snatch their food away from them! Aiyah, but we took plenty of their milk hahahha!
They had a small arcade in the lobby as well!!! Omg, wish I was a kid again. Sylvia and I took neoprints with the Hilton sign and we played the Japanese drums machine.
We checked out soon after and travelled like over an hour to our next lodging, this budget inn near the subway station Minowa called the Andon Ryokan. It was cool. A contemporary Japanese style. The architecture was glass on the outside and lotsa dark wood on the inside. The rooms were like little booths that you climb into. Our room was really tiny. It was a double bed (futon) and when we spread the futon out on the floor, it took up the whole room and we couldn't really walk around. The toilets and shower were communal.. Sighs.. But oh wells, it had free internet!!
We had some trouble checkin in cos Sylvia couldn't find her passport and started panicking. I called Hilton to check if there was any passport lying around in our old room. And THEN... Sylvia found it in one of her little bags. Wah heart attack for nothing sia.
Didn't have much time to go out. Went to Ginza for heaps of cakes and then to Akihabara where they have the Electric Town. The electronics were all pretty cool. I love the phones there!!! Haha.. The bargaining was just so-so. It was slightly cheaper than normal shops in Tokyo. But everywhere was closing. Had dinner at a pub restaurant there.

Sylvia and I are such vampires.. We bought heaps of snacks from a nearby convenience store and watched tv till like 3am.. HAhahahh. The futon was much more comfortable than Hilton's. It was good..
